I tried the ALT+F4 trick (upon dying in combat). Copy the entire contents of any one of your numbered folders, & paste them into your > remote folder. Just create numbered folders & copy the corresponding save files over to them.Ġ2. HINT: You can save as many turns/days as you wish.
Congratulations you have just saved your game! Copy the contents of your remote folder & paste them into the corresponding numbered folder.Ġ5. Open your > remote - shortcut folder & make it occupy the other half of your screen.Ġ4. If you are playing Day 3, you would name your save folder > 03.Ġ3. Within, create a new folder & rename it a number corresponding to the day you are currently playing in the game. Open your TWOM Save Files folder & reduce its size so it only takes up maximum of half a screen.Ġ2. To save > ALT+TAB out of your game, go to desktop.Ġ1. However, when you restore your game it will always revert to the START of that day (even if you save during a night phase, for example). NOTE: You can save your game at any time. Go to Desktop, create a new folder, & rename it > TWOM Save Files. Right click on > remote folder, click > Send to, & click Desktop (create shortcut).Ġ9. Open Windows Explorer & go to your Windows drive, (C:) in most cases.Ġ2. I am running Windows 8.1 (64bit) for your reference (I don't imagine Windows 7 would be too much different).Ġ1. NOTE: This is my way to save, & by no means the only way. I will go through this step by step so there is no confusion. I no longer use this process, I play the game how it was intended. It allowed me to learn, & become more experienced at combat. When I was a nOOb I used this method frequently. If you continue to exploit this process, you will ALWAYS remain a nOOb! Please play the game as intended once you have moved on from nOOb status. I view this process as a learning tool, NOT a cheat, or hack to exploit the game.
